M.I.A. - Lost Boys

M.I.A. was a punk band from Orange County, California and they were formed in the early 80's. Their music were influenced by The Sex Pistols, The Damned, Buzzcocks, Ramones, The Decline, Circle Jerks , Germs, Black Flag , T.S.O.L and others.
In 1984 they signed a deal with Alternative Tentacles label, after the label's founder and Dead Kennedys' frontman Jello Biafra, saw them play at a secret illegal punk nightclub in Las Vegas.
In 2001 "Lost Boys" released, which is a 37-song retrospective of the band's work, including "Last Rites" split LP (1982), "Murder in a foreign place" LP (1984) and several additional tracks.

  1. I always liked MIA. Great song topics, a little different from other groups at the tiem. Clean and hard sound, and every track blended will with each other for those early morning soundtracks setting up to open McDonalds.
